About Strutstuf

Strutstuf is founded by two sisters who have always desired for pieces with character, and are true to one’s individuality. They have spent months studying at the Brooklyn Shoe Space- New York, handmaking shoes. Under the instruction of industry renowned designers, they built their first collection. They draw inspiration from architecture, culture, movement and the subtleties of everyday life; transforming these influences into pieces that embody taste. We want you to think Strutstuf when you are seeking distinct & well-made pieces!

The comfort report serves as a guide to support our customers in making data-driven decisions regarding their purchases. For every shoe we create, we will have a comfort score that provides ratings across the various parameters. The higher the comfort score, the more comfortable it is.

Paulo is the artisan behind the Cabriole & Fete collection. Paulo's vision is to be recognized as a company committed to sustainable development, valuing quality over quantity, utilizing eco-efficient raw materials with a low environmental impact, and respecting conscious consumption and sustainable practices. Some quick facts: 1. ISO14001:2015 certified 2. Hires 23 women out of 33 total employees 3. Pays employees above national average

Our working principles are our pledge to our community to never deviate from these practices Delivering transparently: Our community deserves to make data-driven decisions, we enable them by providing them with - Comfort report: We provide a comfort report for customers to be aware of how comfortable our pieces are. - Factories review: We audit all factories we work with to ensure they are aligned with our values of offering fair wages to their employees, etc. - Materials: We choose premium materials for our shoes; they are built to last. - Affordability: Our brand is high-end but not out of reach. To ensure we continue to pay our employees a livable wage (with benefits) we will never prioritize profits over accessibility to our customers. This is reflected in the level of craftsmanship in our products

Inclusivity is at the core of our brand. We are a Black-owned, women-owned brand that is supported by a team of BIPOC women- graphic designers, web developers and factory employees. Inclusivity is not just an identity at strutstuf. Strutstuf is wide by design. Our shoes reflect a large demographic that has often been an afterthought. All our footwear is made for wide-footed and big-footed people. Currently, our shoes are developed for a standard wide fit; we intend to expand our offering to include extra-wide.

The fictional character “Savanna” is the voice of the brand, who is characterized by one of our founders. They support strutstuf by answering questions, modeling new releases, factory tours, and more. Follow Savanna on their journey on Instagram
